Don’t miss this chance to embrace the art of defense and unleash your attacking potential. Defense is the backbone of field hockey, and this clinic is all about mastering one of the most crucial aspects of the game.

Location: Kentner Stadium, Wake Forest.

1930 Wake Forest Road

Winston-Salem, NC 27109

What to bring:

  • Stick
  • Mouth Guard
  • Shin guards
  • Additional information: No Cleats on Kentner Field

What to Expect:

  • Individual Defensive Skills: Refine your defensive techniques, decision-making, and instincts to win the ball with confidence.
  • Team Defense: Learn how to work collectively as a defensive unit, communicating effectively and making strategic decisions to outplay the opposition.
  • Transition to Attack: Defense is not the end goal — it’s the beginning of the counterattack! We’ll teach you how to seamlessly shift from winning the ball to launching a dynamic attack.

Defense is a combination of passion, instinctive decision-making, and teamwork. This clinic offers a unique opportunity to experience all three while enhancing your skills on both sides of the game.
